We're so glad you stopped by!
The Texas Prairie Band is proud to offer that famous bluegrass "hard-driving" beat
with modern and classic bluegrass melody. What makes our band fairly unique
is that we have several talented "lead" instruments. And, most importantly,
everyone is a solid vocal! Whether your favorite bluegrass music is a fast
paced instrumental or "high harmony" gospel or love song, we have it covered.
Our group is available for corporate venues, church events and private functions.
For corporate events we find Bluegrass is a great choice, most either love it or
like it and will enjoy the music at your event. If you have a Church gospel
need such as worship "special music" or special event, our Bluegrass Gospel music
is a great choice! For your private function we can customize the music, tailored
to your goal.
TPB would welcome an inviation
to play at your event. TPB can play at your event
in any mix: Bluegrass only, Bluegrass plus Bluegrass gospel or Bluegrass Gospel
only. Their songs are typically "hard-driving" and fast paced. "Hard-driving" is a
term in the bluegrass
genre' that refers to faster than normal tempo, harmonies and frequent
solo "break-outs".
